Tamagotchi trip

 Last weekend we traveled to Ohio, which is a short day trip away. I wanted to see the Tamagotchi lab while we were there. Bandai installs these huge tamagotchis in a few stores around the country, and you can connect your tamagotchis to it to get special items. You can also breed the tamas with the special characters to get unique genes, but mine were too young since I forgot to start them earlier in the week xD 

While I was there, I also picked up some tama merchandise I don't usually have access to. 

First thing was the pink meowtchi I put on my work bag! It's getting to be more keychain than bag now... 

Then I got a blind box called Angel Snack Time that has a mini figure and a case for the tamagotchi angels or P1/P2. I actually got the figurine I wanted too!! 

I was also able to FINALLY get my hands on a paradise jade forest, which has special characters on it. I've been hoping for one for months but could never find it. I'm hoping to collect all of the versions of this release, which I have so far, but I know there are two more coming out in the fall. I'll have to keep on top of those for preorders I think since this wasn't a place we'll be back at for a while!  

Valentines dates

Can you believe we are already almost done with February? I'm in such an odd mood today. I wrote a huge post and then deleted it. So much is going on in my head... 

Last week Bryan and I went on two Valentine's Day dates. We only planned one, but my sister had reservations that her and her boyfriend didn't end up wanting to use anymore, so we got to take their place on actual Valentines Day at an Italian restaurant! I actually remembered photos of my food this time too. 
 

I went for an onee look. My friend gave me this skirt a few years ago and I always pull it out for nice dates. ★~(◡﹏◕✿)

I tried pairing it with this off the shoulder sweater since I saw some onee girls doing that. I think it worked perfectly!

First I had wine, this one was some kind of sparkling white wine that I absolutely loved. 

Then chicken with sun dried tomatoes. I'm so hungry looking at this o(╥﹏╥)o

Lastly a special strawberry shortcake they had for Valentine's Day! Everything was so amazing.

Then we had our originally planned date on Monday at a steakhouse. This was why I got dark and elegant nails this month! 

Took forever deciding on the shoes, because the shoes I ordered weren't quite as comfy as i thought. I ended up keeping them though, once I found out I could switch the insides. These heels were terrible to walk in, never again. xD at least I looked cute. 

I loved this drink. It was similar to a wine spritzer, but it had strawberry puree in it. 

I had a steak, but this is the potato they gave me as my side. I don't know if this evenly properly conveys how truly ENORMOUS this potato was. It was the size of probably 3 regular potatoes. Much larger than my hand. You can kind of see my wine glass and the candle holders for scale.

 Today Bryan and I went to an Italian restaurant with my family! My sister's boyfriend was there, so we had almost everybody! I forgot to take pictures of my food, but I had gnocchi and a tiramisu ♥‿♥

Bryan and I both got drinks! Originally I had the second one, but we liked each other's better, so we ended up switching. 

Finally wearing my Alba skirt that I got secondhand a few months ago. I washed it and noticed there were two very small holes, so I had to get around to hand sewing them shut. Same make as usual, this is honestly the first time I have a makeup routine that I intend on continuing for many months because I love how I look so much ♥‿♥

I realized today that my white Mac liner is really dried out and my sprakly eyeshadow stick is maybe 7 months old??? I think I should get new ones, maybe I'll go tomorrow... need to get better about writing down when I opened stuff. I don't mess around with cream products and my eyes, they're so sensitive already. My ulta doesn't have the mac liner though, so i'd have to go to the further one. I'd just order online but every time I order from ulta the box is always kinda beat up and dirty inside and outside...  what problems xD

Finished hair! I got a tape in exte with the bright red so I wouldn't have to dye my hair (the rest is my natural color) and I had her cut layers and shorter pieces around my face. I'm so excited to look like Ran now ♥‿♥

Today I went to Sephora after work! I am still on a low/no buy to save up for another trip this summer and because i way overspent last year rip but I had rewards points and wanted to treat myself. I learned a lot from my no buy month, and this was actually something I felt like I would use. 

I finally got a fresh berry toned blush! I used to have another one by the same brand, but it eventually got old, and besides I wear powder foundation now and that one was cream so it wouldn't work anyways. I loved it so much because it lasted forever. Definitely used it daily for a year and barely looked touched! You might think this shade would look crazy on me, but it looks like a really natural flush. When I was still on instagram I saw a video about how deep berry looks like a natural flush on pale cool toned skin, and so I started looking for a shade like this! I realized lately I really don't like the look of pink blush on me, I only like this and orange. So I hope I will end up using this as much as I used the last one! I also had $15 in credit card rewards for Sephora so I was able to buy this for like $12 :0 I'm really excited to wear it for Valentines day since I think it will match my black dress well. 

I also looked for a pear perfume for Valentines day. They didn't have a mini of the one I wanted, so I took some samples to think about it. I don't really want a full size, but I remembered I do still have a Sephora gift card so maybe if I do still want that one I'll get it.
