Crafting Challenge- Nails!

Today I'm sharing the second day of my crafting challenge and a recent code!

Today, I went to a traditional Japanese painting class. I LOVED it. I met my teacher at the arts festival last week and I was so excited to hear she teaches classes as well! We got talking about shopping and  she said I looked like Egg magazine, which is about the best compliment ever (✿ ♥‿♥)  I wore my new stitch shirt and I felt so Gal and beachy! 

For the nail set challenge, I wanted to make summer beach nails! I've seen a lot of gals on instagram with blue sparkly nails, so I decided to do that too. 

I think they turned out really well! I'm so glad I got those little nail stands, it's so much easier to make nails when they aren't on your hands, lol! If you want to follow along, here's the prompt! I'm not going in order, so feel free to do it quickly, slowly, or any way you want (✿◠‿◠)

So far I've done Day 5 nails, and Day 6 beach jewelry!  I think I want to do a deco craft next, I already have all the materials! I'll see you soon (▰˘◡˘▰)

Blog Challenge- Beach Jewelry!

 Hi there! 

Last night, I started my blog challenge with the beach accessory prompt! Since it's summer I've been really into beach things lately, so I was really excited to make some bracelets! 

I've never used cowrie shells in jewelry before, so I'm really happy with how that bracelet turned out! It was a little confusing to make because you have to tie knots in a certain way to make the shells stay, and I forgot to leave a loop at the end to make it so that you could wear it. So instead I found the flower clasp in my jewelry supplies and used that!

But I think I need to blend out the lower liner a little less next time! I'm actually getting the newest Ageha in the mail tomorrow so I'm hoping there will be a few more closeups of looks like this!!

I felt really cute today (▰˘◡˘▰) I recently got this jacket since my office is really cold and a lot of my dressier shirts are tank tops. I have a regular jean jacket too but I was afraid of all that denim together. Tomorrow, I might go to a local arts festival! I have a lot of chores and grad school things to get done too, so I don't know when I'll get to do the next prompt from my challenge! Office Co*de and Blog Challenge

Today I finally got to wear this super cute co*de I've been thinking about for a long time!!

I felt so cute and summery! I had a few accidents though ●︿● First, my shoes even though they're SO CUTE, cut my feet. Then I went outside to eat lunch at work and I sat on those gross tiny red bugs and they stained my skirt o(╥﹏╥)o Luckily the bathroom had a stain stick and I could fix it!  I didn't feel super good about my makeup today either but that's ok, because I felt so pretty in my dress ≧◡≦

Blog Challenge (✿◠‿◠) 

I've been wanting to get back to blogging and crafting, so I thought I would combine those and make myself a blog challenge!! I just made it for my own fun, but if you are inspired by it feel free to take part and use the list too! ♥‿♥ I'm not doing it 7 straight days, hopefully I'll do one a week! And probably out of order too, lol. I'm hoping by the end of it I'll feel really accomplished and have cute decorations for my new apartment!

Most of these are inspired by supplies I have and need to use up (⊙︿⊙✿) Maybe "using up all the stuff you're hoarding" can be the 8th challenge, lol.

Girl's Day

 Hey there (✿◠‿◠)

Today my friend and I explored the city and then drove out to the discount mall! Can you tell we like shopping? ❀‿❀

Last night I put on a tan, and I decided to wear this neon shirt since I thought it would look super good when I'm tan! It was 90 degrees F today 〴⋋_⋌〵 which is so much hotter than it usually is, even during the summer. 

This was my make for the day! I love being tan, I feel like I look so summery. ★~(◡‿◡✿) I've been trying out thicker eyeliner like I've seen Nana and some other girls from Egg and Nuts doing. I think it turned out really cute! I was so surprised my makeup didn't melt or smudge at alllll even though we were outside in the heat! 

Anyways, we explored the area of the city I just moved to! Even though I have worked here a few summers, I had to drive in from about 40 minutes away so I never got to walk around. There's some interesting shops and restaurants around, and I think I'll want to go back soon! I really liked the bakery I got this macaron from, and we got tea from a cafe next door! 

These are some of the accessories I bought ♥‿♥ I've been looking for a sunhat for a while, and I'm excited to coord it in the future! 

I didn't get a picture, but there were 2 Asian grocery stores! I was super excited by all the variety, and they're pretty close too! I think I can save a lot of money by shopping there instead of the larger regular grocery stores. I also got some soy sauce dishes that I'm super excited to use!

Today, the woman who has the litter of kittens I'm adopting from sent me this! My kitten taking a nap with her mom (◠‿◠✿)

Recent Gets

Today I wanted to FINALLY update you on some of the things I bought recently! I went to a local store that has a lot of kawaii things, it's mostly stationary and plushies but they sometimes have lashes and accessories too (✿ ♥‿♥)

I've never tried bottom lashes so I decided to try these out!

I'm going to add these to my Disney Charm bracelet ≧◡≦

I really want to start writing letters to my friends ≧◡≦ so I'm hoping these will motivate me 

I've had my eye on this Hello Kitty for such a longgggg time and I'm so happy I finally bought her! I have her on my desk at work and it makes me so happy. 

Ok I think this is my favorite thing, maybe only tied with the Hello Kitty. By now you've probably seen that I'm Gal and Dino's #1 fan, and I'm so happy to have another piece of merch especially since I can display it at work! (✿◠‿◠)

You can't see it very well here, but this has leopard print! I haven't decided how i'm going to coord it yet though. 

Swimming Code and tanning

 Hey There! 

Today I went home to my parents' house to swim and have a picnic since some of my extended family was in town! It was SUPER HOT here, like almost 90 F/32 C (i think lol).  But I enjoyed being outside since I don't normally get to since I work inside a building with only frosted windows ●︿●

I was really excited to wear my Juicy Couture tank, I found it on Mercari US a few months ago and until now it's been too cold to wear it! I used my Mamegoma purse to carry my bathing suit, and I have cute sandals from Kate Spade. The jewelry I wore has been my favorite recently, I think I wore those earrings 3 times this week ≧◡≦ 

Something else I've been into lately is self tanning! (✿ ♥‿♥)

My skin burns really easily unless I wear really protective sunscreen, so I've never seen myself with a tan! I was nervous about it, but other than a few problems on my knuckles it turned out SO WELL. It's hard to read from the picture, but I've been using Tanologist foam in Light and their Day Glow serum that is a gradual tan for your face. I don't really think it's gradual, at least not on my skin, so I think the bottle will last a long time! Next time I might try the medium foam though, because i've been using 2 coats of light. In between tans, I've been using the Bondi Sands gradual tanning milk in the blue bottle. I don't think it does a ton but it does really even out any weird areas during the week! Tanning has made me feel so confident and SO Gal. (◕‿◕✿)
