Weekend fun v(=∩_∩=)ﾌ

Hello!! I hope you had a good week (✿◠‿◠) I've been so tired and busy, but it's all for the best since I've started at my new job and I've been able to get dressed up more!!

Last night, my husband and I went to a jazz bar to celebrate our friend's birthday! 

I really like how this outfit turned out! I kinda forgot scarves existed xD but I saw some old school gals wearing scarves this way, so I wanted to try it out!

My husband and I had already eaten dinner, so we just got drinks and a snack! These were Japanese yams. They had a really interesting flavor since they were cooked with miso! 

I also had a cute cocktail that was similar to a french 75!

Now for some work codes! I forgot to take photos a few days ●︿● which i'm sad about because I had a really cute outfit on, but I'll hopefully remember to get a photo next time I wear it!

Art Gallery (✿◠‿◠)

 Hello!! Today I wanted to tell you about my art gallery opening (✿◠‿◠)

I haven't posted much about it, but I've taken traditional Japanese painting classes for a couple years now. I grew up really loving traditional Japanese and Chinese art so it's been such a dream to go to painting class every week ≧◡≦  I never dreamed that my work would be displayed, since I've just been painting for fun and not trying to sell them, but I was super excited when my teacher/friend invited me and some other students to display our art at the gallery. She's a professor at a local college and since she is in charge of all the art classes, she chose the art to put in their new gallery! 

Over the past few years I've really been able to develop my own unique style and it was amazing being able to see my work on display ≧◡≦ I'm really proud of myself! 

I got to wear my Swankiss skirt for the first time! I wanted to match my paintings. It's hard to see in photos, but I use sparkly metallic watercolor in all of my paintings. I take a lot of inspiration from Jfashion and I really like when my paintings look dreamy and serene.

New job codes

 Hello (✿◠‿◠) I finally got a new job and I started last monday! It's been going really well so far. Everyone is really friendly and it's a promotion from what I used to be doing before I had to leave my last job in the fall. It's a casual office so I've been enjoying wearing things I like and doing makeup everyday! 

Two office codes from earlier this week (✿◠‿◠)

The jobs I've had in the past always had catered lunches, but this place doesn't, so I was excited to pick out a lunchbox since i didn't have any! I've already put several keychains on it too ♥‿♥

Valentines Date ♥‿♥

Hello!! I hope you had a nice Valentines day (▰˘◡˘▰) 

Bryan  and I had our celebration on the 15th, since that's when we could get a reservation at our favorite sushi restaurant ≧◡≦ 

The food is always really good. I had a lychee spritz, miso soup, and 2 kinds of vegeterian sushi! For dessert I had a dairy free mango mochi ice cream ♥‿♥

Mirror deco

 Hello!! (✿◠‿◠) Today I deco'd a mirror!! 

I've had the supplies for this for a while and just never got around to doing it, but since I start my new job tomorrow I wanted to actually work on it!! 

Here are my inspo pictures! I wanted to make something really girly and cute with flowers and pearls. 

Ok now time for my project!! ≧◡≦

I got a pretty cheap mirror from target, and I got fake flowers from michael's. I really loved the cherry blossoms, and then I chose the larger pink flowers to fill in the gaps of the branches. For the big flowers I was able to just use scissors, but the cherry blossoms had a wire in them so I used pliers to cut them. I cut the branches into several small pieces so I could arrange them with all the flowers pointing up. The big flowers I just cut off at the base of the flower. I arranged everything and then used hot glue to stick them. I also put That's So Raven on in the background xD my original style icon ♥‿♥

Luna was "helping" and trying to steal the flowers every few minutes xD I love how she always wants to be involved with whatever i'm doing ≧◡≦

Here is the finished product! I added a couple bows, flower shaped rhinestones, lace, and strings of pearls on the sides. I'm really happy with how it turned out and I can't wait to hang it up!! It's gonna make my code pics so cute (✿ ♥‿♥)(✿ ♥‿♥)
