Japanese food date and gets

 Hey Gals <3

On Saturday, Bryan and I had a Japanese food date! We went to the local Japanese grocery store we'd never been to!

I wore a lot of new gets on Saturday! My hoodie, necklace and jeans are new!

I really liked my make on Saturday too! I used my Elf Pumpkin Pie palette for the first time! I really liked it, I liked using warm tones since I haven't in such a long time!

Hoodie- Hollister
Necklace- Bunny Crafty Dream (instagram)
Bracelets- handmade
Jeans- American Eagle (90's boyfriend)
Shellie May pouch- US Amazon, but from Disneyland Hong Kong

I LOVE my new neckalce!! She really did such a good job and I got to pick the colors and everything.

This is what I got at the japanese grocery store! I'm excited to try the sakura tea, i've never had it before!

Bryan  made us a really good dinner (✿◠‿◠) He made Miso soup, roasted daikon and the rice had an egg and seaweed seasoning on it. It was my first time ever eating these foods and I really liked it!!

Now for my desserts  (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧

I got this pastry only because it looked like Doraemon (✿ ♥‿♥) but it was really good. I'm not sure what it's called, but it had a chocolate filling and the top was something special too... cream cheese maybe?

And I got these orange flavored mochi! I like orange but the flavor was a little strong. Next time I'd like to try the other flavors if they have them!

Sunday!!!  (✿◠‿◠) I ran some errands and was able to get some cute stuff too!

I know my hat is from victoria's secret, and my sweater is from Target, but I don't remember anything else haha. I don't know if I like this outfit, but my coat was really soft and warm!

I felt super cure with my make on, so it made up for it lol. I wore my canmake palette, I think it's called "juicy pure eyes" and mine says its shade 01! I like the cool colors a lot, and it has a really nice sparkly topper.

I did my nails Sunday night! It was my second time using polygel, it isn't perfect but it turned out really well  (・∀・ )

Then today (Monday) I ran out to the store to get some glitter nail polish to finish them! I also added these gems, and I'm soooo happy with the final product.

Onto my recent gets!

On Saturday, I got these jewelry sets at Tjmaxx from Betsey Johnson

And this shirt from Target! <3

Today I finallyyyyy got my sanrio tamagotchi. It hasn't been a super long time but the tracking got weird and I was stressing lol. I showed Lizzie this my melody shirt the other day and she encouraged me to get it, she was ABSOLUTELY RIGHT. It's super cute and fits perfectly! It's more like a tunic shirt that you'd wear with leggings, but not quite long enough to be a dress.

These are what I got today! Now looking at the picture you can't see them as well as I thought  (╯◕_◕)╯ But nail polishes are rose gold, silver, variety colored, and gold glitter. Makeup is Hard Candy Glitter Mascara and Hard Candy glitter liner. I used the mascara in high school and was really surprised to find in the dollar store, since I didn't think they still made it! The nail art pieces are REALLY cute flowers, leaves, and butterflies. There's even a hot pink hibiscus, I'm so excited.  ლ(╹◡╹ლ)

Thank you for reading! <3

Valentines Day!

 Hi gals <3

I wanted to tell you about my Valentines Day! I had a really good day even though it was a lot different than normal. Usually, Bryan and I would go out somewhere for lunch or dinner but this year we had a day in instead!

This is what I wore! It was suuuuper cold so I wanted to make sure I was prepared, especially since I knew I'd be walking outside a bit for one of my activities. I got this Liz Lisa skirt a few months ago and hadn't been able to wear it until Valentines Day! I don't know it's official name but it has Cinderella and her carriage on it. Everything else is offbrand, and I made my jewelry <3

I did a pink make look! I usually don't do bright lips but I really liked how this turned out.

First I went to my FAVORITE place in the city, the kawaii gift store.

As you can see, I went all out. lol. But I got two notebooks, the larger one has graph paper in it which I think will be really useful since I am in graduate school for design and also do a few design projects at work. I also got a super cute pen that has Disney characters as cookies, but I can't get it to work. I don't know why. (✖╭╮✖) Then I got a little Disney tsumtsum notepad, and Mickey and Minnie stickers I'm going to use for scrapbooking my Disney World pictures. Finally, I wanted another plush keychain for my purses so I got this super cute Hello Kitty!

I was soooo excited to find out they started carrying Daiso lashes! I haven't tried styles like these before and I hope that I'll like them!

I got this charm for a tamagotchi I bought that should be here in a few days! I didn't know about Jewel Cat before but now I really want to find more things with her on it.

Ok now onto my actual Valentines date! I didn't get a picture of our food, but we had lunch crepes from a local Japanese crepe place. Then I brought chocolates and hot chocolate that we ate later! I got Bryan  a leather bracelet to go with his watches.

If you have talked to me, you probably know that I am IN LOVE with Gal and Dino. Like if I could be any anime character I wanna be Kaede (✿◠‿◠)  So of COURSE I almost exploded when I unwrapped one of my presents and it was a Dino plush. Bryan found a website that has a bunch of their merch, he really knows me well. This selfie was taken right after I opened it and I was so overjoyed. (≧◡≦)

These are the other presents Bryan got for me! I love the style of jewelry with large crystal hearts, so this is going to fit my perfectly with my wardrobe!

Here's a closer picture of Dino, because I love him (◕‿◕✿)

When I got back home, I found out my bear ear hoodie arrived in the mail! One of my friends from the himekaji discord sent me the link a while ago and I was finally able to buy it. I'm super excited to make some co*des with this!

Byeeee! I hope I'll be back soon. Bryan  and I are planning on visiting the local Japanese grocery store this weekend. They said they do magazine subscriptions, I really wanna ask if I can order Egg and Nuts through them. (◑‿◐)

Galentines Day and DIY Skirt

Hi there! Today I wanted to tell you about the himekaji girls' valentine tea party and the outfit I made for it!

But before I start I have a valentine! Valentine's day got me thinking about all the happy people and things in my life! You have all been so welcoming to me and it makes me happier than you know <3 It makes me so happy to share my outfits and to be friends with so many awesome gals. It means a lot since I just graduated college and I don't have a lot of activities anymore, I feel like I get to be a part of a big group again <3

I've been learning to sew from my mom and sister, and the tea party was the perfect occasion to make a skirt and bow! I wanted gingham originally, but I didn't find any I liked and went for polka dots instead.

I decided to add a ribbon trim and little rhinestone details to the front! I think I want to find a new pattern the next time I make a circle skirt like this so it will be more gathered at the top, but I really like how this turned out!!

I also wanted to make a matching bow! I literally made this 2 hours before the meet started, I just found a pattern online that I liked and then added the heart.

Here is my final outfit for the tea party! I am so happy with how it turned out.

I decided to use my new blush that I've been LOVING, it's from Makeup Forever called B202. It's hard to tell from this picture but I also had pink eyeshadow! Also I really like how my nose stripe looked today, I was sad to take it off. lol.

I ran out of time before the tea party, but I still did my nails at the beginning of the call! One of my neighbors sells Color Street nail polish strips, which are kinda like stickers that you  attach to your nail and then just file off the extra. I really liked them, and I got a lot more for the future since they had animal print!

Tomorrow, I'm going to see Bryan and I'm stopping by the local kawaii stationary and gifts shop! I already have my outfit planned and I'm sure I'll put up a post about it soon too! I also have my next sewing project planned. I'm going to make a long plaid skirt! I hope you all are having a fantastic weekend and I can't wait to see everyone's valentines co*des!
