First swankisss get (✿ ♥‿♥)

 Hello!! Today was a really good day, (✿ ♥‿♥) my first Swankiss item arrived in the mail! 

I'm so happy, it's even prettier than I thought it would be!! the ice cream labels even say swankiss (▰˘◡˘▰)

I also went out shopping today, I needed a few things. The bag they gave me at Pink matched my outfit and my drink xD 

Today's make (▰˘◡˘▰) I was so excited to get dressed up and put on makeup today! I usually go out for physical therapy, and it's not really conducive to wearing makeup (◕︵◕) That should be ending soon though, so I'm looking forward to using my makeup more again!!

December coords

 Hello!! I wanted to share some of my coords from December. I've been enjoying dressing up more often!

I've been wearing jeans a lot more lately. I think it looks really cute to wear my cute anime girl shirts layered over top of high neck tops!! I got these boots a few months ago too. I need to take a photo because they're really cute, they are pale pink with glitter and leopard pattern ♥‿♥

Our friends got engaged and had a little party at the distillery/bar my husband and I always hang out at!  I just got this sweater, I had seen it several times at Marshall's but kept passing it up. It was super discounted, so I had to have it especially since there's swans on it!! (✿◠‿◠)

Christmas and New Year's!!

 Hello!! Happy New Year!! 

This year we spent Christmas with my husband's family because my family was sick ●︿●  We still had a lot of fun, and I'm happy that we got to still have a fancy meal and open presents christmas morning!! I still missed my family a lot though. We are hoping we can meet up with them soon to open presents!! 

I got to wear this Ank Rouge skirt, it really feels christmas-y to me!! I also got new formal shoes! It's probably kinda hard to see, but I used my bow clips on them and I think they look super cute (✿◠‿◠) 

We had a cocktail competition with his family on Chrisstmas eve. He made a baja blast cocktail xD I think he won 2nd or 3rd place

When we got back to our apartment, we opened our gifts to each other! (✿ ♥‿♥)  Penguin and House is one of my favorite manga, and I was obsessed with this Slytherin snake squishmellow for literal months xD It's just such a ridiculous shape for a snake and it's so cute, I smile every time I look at it. The other snake was a decoy/joke gift leading up to the actual slytherin snake, lol. I think i'm gonna bring it with me to the fantasy/wizard/harry potter festival next year. I was supposed to go dressed up as a Slytherin kogal but i didn't get to go (◕︵◕) I think he would look really cute wrapped around my shoulders like that though, it's the perfect accessory for that outfit. 

For New Years we went out to see some of my extended family!! The first day we went to a little art museum that had some antique christmas displays! 

On New Year's eve we got to go to the history museum!! I love going here because there is a section that's built like an old city street. Sometimes you can go inside some of the little shops, like a dress shop and the printing press place.

After the museum, we got back to my relative's house and we celebrated the evening with everyone

Tea Party (✿◠‿◠)

 Hello!! I'm catching up on some blogging (✿◠‿◠) Hopefully I will get some of my wedding photos up too, I meant to do that months ago and forgot. lol. But anyways. My friend Hiromi and I went to a tea party last month and it was so cute!! 

This is what we had to eat! They also brought us wedding soup, which I didn't expect at a tea place but it was really good!! 

I was really excited to wear these culottes! I bought them secondhand at a con over the summer. 

It was such a fun day ≧◡≦ I hope we do more tea parties in the future, we've already talked about seeing some other restaurants ヾ(〃^∇^)ﾉ  

Weekend Adventures *:･ﾟ✧*:･ﾟ✧

 Hello! I wanted to tell you about my weekend adventures so far.

Yesterday, Bryan and I went to our friend's organ concert! Our friend is graduating from graduate school, and this was part of his capstone project. After that, there was a little party at a speakeasy themed bar. I wore a jirai inspired coord! 

Quick, the landmine is escaping (⊙︿⊙✿)

Today I just visited the coffee shop where Bryan works. I've been enjoying the manga, it's kinda hard to see but it's called "The Masterful Cat is Depressed Again" and it's about a young woman who has a giant cat that basically does all the house chores and cooking xD 

Then I organized my My Melo collection (✿ ♥‿♥)

My dad brought many of these plushies back from Japan for me (✿◠‿◠) he went on a business trip there last year. He asked me if there was anything he could look for for me and I sent him a photo of Melody. He said when he visited the Sanrio store, no one spoke english (which makes sense, just important context for the story) so he showed the worker the photo and she went and got a few things, which he then put into his basket. He had no idea how popular melo is, so he kept accepting things until the bag was almost full xD so now every time i see melo, i think of my dad (▰˘◡˘▰) 

My mom and sister got this advent calendar from Beekman for me!! They're a skincare brand that makes things with goat's milk. I really like their face wash bar so i'm very excited about it!

I opened Days 1 and 2 today since I forgot that yesterday was already December xD the black and white one is a clear lip balm, and the yellow is tinted!

This balm has a nice color, it's a rosy nude. It's getting so dry here so I'm excited to use both of these soon!

Relaxing day

 Hello!! 

Today i was supposed to see my friend, but i felt really sick last night so i couldn't go (◕︵◕) when i woke up i realized i was having an allergic reaction (so not contagious) and eventually decided to go get tea at the cafe my husband works at!!  

and OMG i did not know how good of a decision that was gonna be!!  I overheard a group of women next to me talking about makeup and how they were preparing for an opera show. OMG. I didn't post about it, but I went to see Barber of Seville earlier this fall and i absolutely loved it and have been obsessed with the opera ever since then. I'm really shy so I didn't say anything for a while but then I knew i would regret it and asked them if they performed in the opera. They said yes and one of the women was in the opera I saw ≧◡≦  They also said they were wanting to do makeup like mine and asked how I did it and what I used, i was totally starstruck xD I asked them to take a selfie with me because they are basically celebrities to me (✿ ♥‿♥) they were so nice, and they said the opera takes volunteers too, so I called the volunteer coordinator and am waiting to hear back. I'm so excited ≧◡≦ 

I didn't get a coord photo but this is what I wore. My friend Sam made the bracelet! 

My eye make! I had to edit it to make the colors look like they do in real life, since I only remembered to take this photo at night. I hate when make pics are too filtered and you can't see what the colors look like, so I usually try to keep the photos unedited. 

I used the purple and blue from this Too Faced Italian Sprits palette, then used the canmake glitter on top, since it's just glitter without a base color. I used a silver liner under my eye and then used the Flower Knows glitter on top!

Black Friday shopping!

 Hello!! (✿◠‿◠) 

I went black friday shopping with my mom and sister and our family friends!! It's always something I really look forward to because it's a time for all of us women to hang out together, especially since thanksgivng isn't really my thing!! It was a lot of fun this year, I think the best part was getting to go makeup shopping with my sister. We bought matching eyeshadow palettes ≧◡≦  It felt like something out of the Barbie movie, just girls bonding over fashion and makeup. 

I'll probably post the makeup I got later, but I only have pictures of the clothes I got right now! I'm trying to get over the hurdle of "i didn't take enough photos to blog" bc I noticed that's why I wasn't writing as much. I never know if people care about random thoughts to read all the text without photos xD

I had seen the forever 21 x Disney collab but it was kinda overpriced for F21, but luckily a few things I had my eye on were half off (✿ ♥‿♥) 

This was something I was SO HAPPY to find. I was worried they'd be sold out by then since it was a popular collab. It's actually way warmer than I thought it would be, it's almost a coat since it's so thick. I also got the matching pants but I had to order online, so I'm just waiting for them to come in!!

VS Pink obsession

Recently I've been more obsessed with Pink from like 2010 than I normally am, LOL. It's like my one constant boom since I was a teen, but the stuff was so expensive to me at the time and fashion wasn't as important as it is to me now. Now I have grown up job money but Pink totally changed their style. They released some cute stuff last year that I showed in some of my posts but other than that it's been so hard to find ●︿● so instead, i wanted to share some inspo I found on pinterest!! Come live in 2010 with me ♥‿♥ 

Can you even IMAGINE walking into a Pink store that looks like this?? Seriously I would go feral over this xD the bright colors, sequins ... it used to have such a personality! idk maybe it's too normie fashion for my normally jfashion blog but my interest in this kind of thing led me to gyaru!! 

why did they stop making the dogs (◕︵◕) 

I'm going thrifting tomorrow, I heard that in my area there's a lot of older Pink at the thrifts. Pray to the gal goddesses for me xD i really want some of the yoga pants, i have 2 of them but I wore them so much last year that they're starting to look washed out, i'm heartbroken (◕︵◕) I found some at a goodwill today but they were in wayyy worse condition than the ones I have. 

Ugh, I just miss the 2010's xD maybe i'm just getting old but fashion then always had such an exciting and sassy feeling. I'm so over the "natural beauty" trend ◔_◔  but I've already ranted on that plenty xD

Hello!! I am posting out of order xD but Sam was able to visit last weekend and it was so much fun!! We have this joke that we are "taco bell gals" since we're both obsessed with baja blast and taco bell. Sometimes people think it's a real gal circle or something when i reference it, which really entertains me since it's such a non-serious joke ヾ(〃^∇^)ﾉ LOL

Anyways!! 

a group of us got to go out to a local restaurant on sunday night and brunch on Monday! I wore a casual outfit on Sunday, i still felt really cute tho!! 

I love this top from Pink, I got it last year when they did a special release of some of their original style pieces. 

 Sam brought me so many presents, I couldn't believe my eyes when i saw the my melo set ♥╭╮♥  and all the makeup, really everything omggggg. She brought me a glitter liner from flower knows, and now i'm obsessed!! 

Going to brunch!! 

I had chocolate chip banana pancakes, they're my absolute favorite breakfast food from this restaurant! I need to go more often (✿ ♥‿♥)

This was my outfit for brunch!! I had my eye on this skirt from urban outfitters for several months but I was NOT willing to pay like 50 or 60 for it. I found it on the clearance rack for less than $20 the other day so i had to immediately get it (▰˘◡˘▰)
