Mall Gets

Hi! Today I wanted to show you my mall gets from the past couple weeks (✿◠‿◠)

I went out shopping with my friend Macy yesterday and first we went to Ulta! I had a gift card that I wanted to use, and I needed to refill some things I normally use.

I havent tried this shave cream before, but I have really sensitive skin so I thought I would give it a try. Next is the eyeliner and mascara and primer, which I already know i love. My eyes have been hurting when I use another eyeliner on my waterline, so I wanted to get a new gel liner. Then I saw these nails on sale ♥‿♥

I was trying to get a bright pink blush like you see a lot of Onee and Popteen gals wearing, and I think this is gonna be really cute. I took these pictures when it was dark outside, so it's kinda hard to tell but the pale pink is actually cool toned in real life so I think it'll work out! (✿ ♥‿♥)

So this was actually from another trip but I was so excited to find it. I had just been talking to Mayu about how we both missed this kind of stuff from Pink, and I went into the store and discovered they had a TON of new things in this old 2010 style. I actually got a couple pieces from this release in December, but they're in the wash right now (◕︵◕)

Anyways, when I went to look for this, the woman at the store brought out a giant pile of clothes from the back for me. She said they literally just unpacked it from the truck and I was the first person to buy them (≧▽≦)  I had to tell someone immediately so I messaged Mayu and she helped me pick out this green set which I'm super obsessed with (✿ ♥‿♥) Sadly it's been too cold to wear it yet though.

When I went to Pink with Macy I couldn't resist these (⊙︿⊙✿) It's like a guilty pleasure bc I know I already bought some new body sprays like 2 weeks ago but this coconut peach scent just sucked me in. I'm really excited to use the sparkly/tan thing, it's a scented body oil that's supposed to make you sparkly. The bag has a zipper on it, which was exactly what I was looking since I am always carrying a ton of stuff. I always thought I was ridiculous until I saw street snaps where gals are carrying several bags, so now I feel like I fit in (◕△◕✿)

I was so excited to find this skirt at Forever 21 because I have a couple light skirts similar to this that do NOT fit me anymore but I didn't want to give them up until I found a replacement (◕︵◕) I'm sad I couldn't find black or cream which were the original colors I had, but I think this will look really cute too! Plus the fabric is shiny ★~(◡ ‿ ◡✿)

I fell IN LOVE with this dress on the sale rack at forever 21. The print reminded me of something an Onee gal would wear, plus it has cute little butterflies on the straps. I really wanted to wear it to an event this weekend with a coat, but it's going to snow 〴⋋_⋌〵 so it'll have to wait until spring

Finally, I got this little heart shelf at Target! I thought I could use it to display some cute perfume bottles.

That's all for today! I got a Blenda mag I want to scan soon, see you then! (✿◠‿◠)

Recent coords photo dump (✿◠‿◠)

Hi! (✿◠‿◠) Today I wanted to share some outfits from the past couple weeks!

This was from Labor Day! I went to visit my friend Macy (づ。◕‿‿◕。)づ

We made these cute Unicorn wind chimes! Mine wasn't assembled in this picture.

Later last week, I went to dinner with Mio before she has to go back to Japan (◡﹏◡✿) We had tacos at a really cute restaurant and it was a great time!

On Friday, I saw Macy again and we went to the mall. We decided to walk into Build-a-Bear... and guess what I saw? (✿ ♥‿♥) I had to bring Halloween Stitch home with me! I even got him a pumpkin costume!

Yesterday, my family and I went to a community polo match! I was nervous at first because i saw so many people dressed up fancy... but my family was dressed casually as well. They even had these tiny donuts ♥‿♥ I really enjoyed watching the game too!

I totally forgot to take a photo of my outfit today ●︿● but here's a photo of my makeup! I really like this eyeliner shape on me.

Here are the pants I wore today! I found them at the mall earlier this week. I couldn't believe i found such a cute pattern. My painting teacher Hiromi even asked me if they were Alba Rosa (✿ ♥‿♥)

Here are some of my paintings from last week and this week!

Lastly, here's some new makeup I got recently!

The lipstick is Crem de Nude. It looks really orange if i'm not tan, but since I've been tanning it's the perfect pale nude! The eyeshadow is super sparkly and great over other colors or just by itself (✿ ♥‿♥)

I bought this since I was looking for some frosty blues and grays! I used it in a lot of my makeup looks this week. (✿◠‿◠)

That's all for tonight! Thanks for reading ★~(◡‿◡✿)

Boots!

Hi! Just a short post right now because I’m on my phone!

I’ve been searching for some boots I can wear without pain since I have a few health conditions that make finding shoes kind of a nightmare. I have pain usually even going to the mall or short trips like that. I still have pretty shoes I wear when I don’t have to walk much, but I’m trying to find more that I am comfortable in especially for cold or rainy times which happens a ton where I live. Anyways, I thought I found really cute boots but they turned out to be really short once they came in the mail 😭 this is why I dont usually online shop 🤣 anyways here they are, tell me what you think!  Idk if I’ll return them!

Here is a bonus picture with Luna 💗

I was kinda hoping they would be a little taller, like ugg boots almost. The tan ones are a little less comfy than the black… but I don’t know, I’m not sure how I would coord them😭 if you have ideas please let me know!

That’s all for now, maybe I’ll be back later with my makeup post! 💗💗

New nail care

Hello!! Today I wanted to show you some new nail care gets! (✿◠‿◠)

My nails were pretty damaged after I removed my acrylics... then put on a set of press ons (✖﹏✖) I probably was a little rough with the removal but I also think the salon was not gentle enough on my nails because they all have ridges from the acrylics. Anyways, even though I sorta loathe my natural nails I decided to wear them naked for a while and invest in some products to help them while they're growing out. My picture skills aren't great but I hope you won't mind! (⊙﹏⊙✿)

I picked up this Soap & Glory hand butter to put on in the evenings and I already had the Beekman cuticle cream for during the day! I also found out this hand butter is pretty good for my knuckles before tanning.

I've been using this ORLY Nailtrition for a little over a week. It's supposed to help your nails recover from acrylics or gel. I would say it's fine, nothing magical. But my nails are also just prone to breaking even without damage, and they never seem to hold polish well. So it might actually work better for someone else! I've been applying one coat every day but it always ends up chipping significantly by the next day. I think it's definitely protected my nails from breaking past where they meet my finger though. I have a pretty long nail bed and sometimes they will rip along the sides and that really hurts (⊙﹏⊙✿)

I got this soy polish remover for the Nailtrition and the stuff I'll show you next! Works ok, seems gentle! It kinda takes a while for it to remove the polish, but it's probably better than the pure acetone I normally use!

I decided that if I have to wear my natural nails, I might as well try to be a little cute. I got these Color Therapy nail polishes since they seemed like they had conditioning ingredients! The colors are really pretty, they're both pearlescent. I'm going to finish the 14 day Nailtrition before I try them! I don't expect them to last more than a day or two, but at lest it'll be nice to have something other than naked nails!!

That's all for today! Thanks for reading (✿ ♥‿♥) Next time, I'll show you my makeup gets for 2004 looks!

Mall Trip

Hi! It's been a while since I blogged. This week, I decided to redo my blog design and I really like it (✿◠‿◠) I even added a little palm tree favicon. Anyways, here's some pictures from when my sister and I went to the mall last weekend!

Our Aerie store got a redesign and there were all these cute areas to hang out or play little games. Ofc i wanted to take photos there instead (★‿★)

This is what I bought (◠﹏◠✿) I wanted some things that would work for old school looks for the fall! I've been having an old school boom lately. My friend Kieli was so kind and shared some of her fall old school mag scans over on her blog (。♥‿♥。)  We've been talking about old school together and I feel so inspired! I've been really into mags from around 2005 and I also got some new makeup for that style that I'll write about soon!

I think I want to wear these with a sweater and my western boots!

I noticed a lot of girls in old school mags wear bootcut jeans. I was happy to find these since they are also low rise, which is much more comfortable for me than high or mid rise! I think I'll wear the gray skirt with a zip up sweater ★~(◡‿◡✿) I can't wait to wear them!

That's all for today! See you next time!!

Spring Cleaning (✿◠‿◠)

Hey! Today I was compiling some goals for spring cleaning and I wanted to share them (◠﹏◠✿)

Have a wishlist/spend limit when I go shopping

Shopping is a social event for me, but the downside is sometimes I end up buying things I don't love. I am trying to compile a wishlist of things I find myself looking for frequently and limiting myself to shopping for just those items when I go shopping. Or, if I'm going somewhere like an art festival, setting a spend limit so I don't come back with too many things or overspend.

ʕ·ᴥ·ʔ
Have an IDK bin

I tend to get really anxious when I clear out my closet since I'm afraid of regretting getting rid of something. I thought up a good way around this that i'm going to call the IDK bin. Every time I get dressed, when I see something that I know I'm avoiding wearing/makes me feel meh I'm going to put it in the bin. Then I will look through the bin a couple times a month and decide if I miss that item or not. If I still feel meh about it the second time I see it, I can give it away.

ʕ·ᴥ·ʔ
Having a goal

I've been thinking a lot about what fashion means to me now at 25 years old. I won't get too much into it, but as a kid girls used to tell me to stop wearing my favorite clothes because they were "too childish/cute." So I used to put a lot of time into studying what was "cool" so I would stop getting bullied and feel like I fit in. Spoiler alert that didn't happen, and was kinda damaging to my mental health. It wasn't until a couple years ago when I finally broke free of that mindset and starting to wear what I wanted just for ME only. I have so many clothes that I keep because I feel obligated to have them, but I don't really get any joy out of wearing them. I essentially have them just out of guilt. It kinda sucks to have to dig around meh clothes every day when I'm getting ready. So I am making it my goal to have as few meh clothes around as possible, unless it's something like a plain shirt that I need for building outfits. I think having a wardrobe full of things I actually love and cherish will make me feel so much better than having clothes I'm avoiding. Even though my ultimate goal is to have a smaller wardrobe, reminding myself of the positive mental health effects that will have on me will really help.

ʕ·ᴥ·ʔ

My overall goal is to declutter my apartment, because I know it's making me anxious to just have extra stuff I don't love. But really, even if I still have a large wardrobe, I just want to be able to say that everything I own has a purpose even if the purpose is just that it makes me happy or that it's a basic that builds my outfits. I'll never be a minimalist or someone with only one style, but I can be someone who buys items carefully and loves everything they own! (◠‿◠✿)

Makeup and Haircare panning project!

Hello! (✿◠‿◠) Today I wanted to share a makeup and haircare panning project I decided to do with my friend! If you aren't familiar with it, panning projects are challenges to use up a specific makeup product or to use it a specific amount of times during the challenge. My friend an I decided to take part in the 101 Magical Pans by @liz_plans_and_pans on instagram. We used a random number generator to get the prompts! Here is the link if you're interested

9 Rapunzel, a hair care item- I have SO MANY hair care items, and I'm actually currently going through them to organize my goals around using them. For this challenge, I want to finish my mini Moroccan oil curl cream. It's already very close to empty though, so I want to make it more of a challenge and try to finish my Miss Jessie's Jelly Soft Curls as well. I really like the cream and I have an unopened full size! The gel isn't really my thing since it has such a light hold and I prefer a strong hold, but it was on the pricier side and I want to finish it.

80 Wanda vision, a timeless product- Eyeshadows are the largest part of my collection! I decided that I want to hit pan on at least 1 of these shades for this challenge. I picked this palette because I can mix mattes with any of my other palettes! It's also a fairly old piece in my collection, and I'm trying to get through some of the oldest products first.

26 Wreck it Ralph, a product that has bad reviews but you enjoy it- I decided to try to finish this Etude house tear eye liner. I do really enjoy this product, but as others have pointed out it can get patchy. The sparkle it has is just unmatched in my collection though, so it is one of my favorites!

40 Flounder, a product your best friend loves- My friend and I both have this supershock shadow from Colourpop from their animal shelter donation collection a few years ago.  Mine is starting to dry out so I want to at least hit pan on it! I picked this also because I'm panning the mattes palette and this is a really pretty topper to make a matte look into a glitter look!

100 Goofy, a product with a funny name- When I saw this prompt, I knew I had to do a Too Faced product because they all have ... interesting ... names (⊙︿⊙✿) This one is called Peekaboo! I never get enough use out of all the lip products I have, I always end up using the same couple clear or pink products. I thought this would match nicely with my other picks and be a fun warm for spring and summer!

I honestly have no idea how long it will take to use any of these products, since I've never actually tried to pan anything before! Hopefully I will reach my goals! I think I'll make monthly updates and extras if I happen to finish something sooner. I'm also planning on organizing my hair products to see which ones I want to finish, use up half, or declutter altogether. Look out for more posts soon, I'll see you then! (◠‿◠✿)
